I am a committed and focused individual, with a decade of experience in the music industry. I have worked in many different areas of the music industry, showing my ability to adapt myself to learn a new set of skills. I have accumulated a vast knowledge of all areas of the UK music industry during my 10 years working in it.

I am interested in a new challenge, while still keeping my current knowledge and skill set relevant.

Jan-Dec 2016: Production Manager Out/Standard Music Library.

  • O/S is a production/library music start up. I was employed as a production manager with the main task of building their content on a strict budget.

  • This involved bringing on my own writers, producing their Ep’s and ensuring all masters were delivered correctly, on time and under budget.

  • I was consulted during the building of the website and oversaw the tagging and metadata of all tracks uploaded onto our platform.

  • Drawing on my extensive audio editing skills, l was often called upon to put together many different edits of tracks in our library for multiple projects.

Jan 2016 – Present: Freelance Music Supervision for Cadillac, Black Tomato and Diageo.

  • I was asked to commission original material for branded content projects for Cadillac and Diageo.

  • Cadillac teamed up with luxury travel agency Black Tomato to create the ‘What Drives You Forward’ campaign, based on the story of 5 innovators taking you on a journey around their local city, with a compelling narrative.

  • The creative direction of the project was to make a contemporary production whilst incorporating the heritage of the location in which the videos were filmed (Botswana, Mexico etc).

  • The productions have been viewed over 250,000 times on YouTube and feature on the Cadillac website.

2012-2015 Co-founder of songwriting/production/artist development company The Firm.

  • Writing and producing music for a varied selection of artists from Naughty Boy and Emeli Sande to Jacob Banks and Izzy Bizu.

  • Identifying new talent and developing working relationships with the artists and their management/publishers. An example of which would be Izzy Bizu and Jacob Banks, now signed to Epic and Atlantic respectively with Izzy’s debut album having been released Jan 2016, shortlisting her for both the Brit Awards Critics Choice awards and the BBC Sound of 2016.

  • Create and develop working relationships with A&R departments, publishers and management in order to expand our working roster of artists.

  • Expanding our client database into label offices and publishers across Europe, resulting in our works being released in Spain, Holland and Germany.

  • Work with labels to compile studio recording budgets. An example of this is James Walsh’s “Turning Point” album, which l co-wrote, engineered, produced and mixed. I also found the musicians and studio and made the album under what was a modest budget.

Miloco 2008-2012: Studio Manager and Engineer.

  • Studio engineer working at all their studios in and around London.

  • Engineered N-Dubz 2008 album “Against All Odds”, which was awarded a MOBO for best song and nominated for a BRIT award. l was not only the engineer, but also the liaison between Universal Music and their management in order to make sure the deadline demands of the label were being met.

  • Studio manager at Fisher Lane Farm studios. My responsibilities included managing the diary, studio expenses and the day to day running of the studio and all technical aspects. I also undertook the responsibility of liaising directly with the label to discuss budgets for their acts.
